As the only global convention specializing in the conservation of migratory species, their habitats and migration routes, CMS works with a number of other international organizations, including NGOs. Partnerships are possible.

Advocacy Opportunities:
  • Advocacy possible through CMS partnerships, and through members.
  • CMS now has an Expert Working Group on Culture and Social Complexity, which is looking at how these attributes influence conservation. This could be an important avenue for expanding the valuation of individual animals in the context of conservation.
