WAN E-mail Lists

World Animal Net moderates the following e-mail lists for animal protection societies:

wan-experimentation - for information and resources on animal experimentation (including animal testing of cosmetics)
wan-entertainment - for information and resources on animals used for entertainment
wan-farm - for information and resources on farm animal issues (including battery hens)
wan-fur - for information and resources on the fur issue
wan-general - for affiliated societies

These are moderated e-mail lists, which are generally restricted for information of international relevance, or resources that will be helpful to animal protection societies.

The wan-general list is used for WAN announcements and contacts with affiliate societies.

WAN welcomes contributions to these lists from animal protection societies - particularly news of major successes, or resources useful to other animal groups. Contributions to these lists should be concise and well structured. No attachments should be used (inline text only) since not everybody's browser can handle all formats. A brief message can be followed by information on how to obtain further details (for example, an e-mail contact or a link to a Web Site giving more information). Messages, stating the topic, should be submitted to the general WAN e-mail addres.
